The internal real-time-clock battery has a 15 year lifetime (conservatively), so you won't need to replace it yet.
The rechargable web server backup batteries have about a 3 year lifespan,
possibly less in high temperature environments.
Play it safe. Keep your power controller running with correct, factory fresh batteries.

Battery
specifications vary. The charging circuit inside the power controller is matched
to factory batteries. Substituting aftermarket Li-ion batteries may create a
safety hazard. Damage to the faceplate or charger caused by improper
batteries is not covered under warranty.
